In the words of my daughter, "Most amazing book, EVER!!". It has a very strong message about adoption, finding your sense of self, and acceptance. The story of Henrietta is one that I will share with friends who have adopted as it presents a great example of familial acceptance, and examines in a simple way the very real struggles that every child, adopted or not, goes through in trying to belong and fit in. Henrietta sets out to find herself and discovers that home really is where her heart is. Mandi Tillotson is a fantastic author who has a knack for getting it right. Yet another library staple for our family!
